I need some naming advice!!! I am fully irish and my husband is persian/arabic. We have a little girl named [name]alana[/name] and she is having a baby sister.

My dad’s name is [name_m]alan [/name_m], so i always thought i.
We [name]love[/name] the name [name]adriana[/name], but it is awfully close.
But could also be short for alana etc. While i’m usually not a fan of extra letters in names, i prefer the spelling [name]alanna[/name] over. I am pregnant and looking for names for our daughter, yes we know for sure its a girl 🙂 we are both very proud of our heritages and would. So, my middle name is my paternal grandfather’s name, and i always thought i would do the same thing with my first child.
I think i have finally narrowed it down to 2 names for my daughter. Just for a bit of fun 🙂 the mazelee family (youtubers) now have eight children, six girls (amyah, akyli, azaio, arazo, ajoui, ajaiu) and two boys (ajedi and unnamed newborn). Which would you pick and why? Is there a “correct” or “original” way to spell [name]elaina [/name]/ [name]elena [/name]/ [name]alaina [/name]/ [name]alayna [/name],etc???
The only drawback i can see is that [name]alana [/name] [name]thompson [/name] is reality child star [name]honey [/name] boo boo’s real name so it may be considered “downmarket”.
I have considered [name]alana [/name]… i like it, but what i love about [name]elena [/name] is that it sounds the same as the turkish name, [name]aleyna [/name].
