But, unless i'm mistaken, they've removed them completely. Same thing used to happen with many print newspapers / tabloids / magazines to. They censor comments and terminate accounts if you don't carry the their one sided slant.

Seems to me their staff should be, i dunno.
I have to admit, it was always entertaining reading the comments on sf gate. I went over to sfgate looking for information after the shootings in half moon bay earlier this year, and their top featured story was the defeat of woke m&m's gives me hope for this. What happened to the comment section on sfgate.com? The only columns that will stay on sfgate.com are from sports and arts & entertainment.
I used to enjoy reading them and now none of the articles have comments?!?! Sfgate and freedom of expression? No articles have comments enabled. Since when are these areas considered the bay area?
