While i’m usually not a fan of extra letters in names, i prefer the spelling [name]alanna[/name] over. I need some naming advice!!! Is there a “correct” or “original” way to spell [name]elaina [/name]/ [name]elena [/name]/ [name]alaina [/name]/ [name]alayna [/name],etc???

So, my middle name is my paternal grandfather’s name, and i always thought i would do the same thing with my first child.
We have a little girl named [name]alana[/name] and she is having a baby sister.
Which would you pick and why? She will mostly go by. We [name]love[/name] the name [name]adriana[/name], but it is awfully close. Just for a bit of fun 🙂 the mazelee family (youtubers) now have eight children, six girls (amyah, akyli, azaio, arazo, ajoui, ajaiu) and two boys (ajedi and unnamed newborn).
But could also be short for alana etc. Lana is a slavic short form of svetlana, milana etc. My dad’s name is [name_m]alan [/name_m], so i always thought i. I am pregnant and looking for names for our daughter, yes we know for sure its a girl 🙂 we are both very proud of our heritages and would.
The only drawback i can see is that [name]alana [/name] [name]thompson [/name] is reality child star [name]honey [/name] boo boo’s real name so it may be considered “downmarket”.
