My dad’s name is [name_m]alan [/name_m], so i always thought i. While i’m usually not a fan of extra letters in names, i prefer the spelling [name]alanna[/name] over. She will mostly go by.

Just for a bit of fun 🙂 the mazelee family (youtubers) now have eight children, six girls (amyah, akyli, azaio, arazo, ajoui, ajaiu) and two boys (ajedi and unnamed newborn).
So, my middle name is my paternal grandfather’s name, and i always thought i would do the same thing with my first child.
I have considered [name]alana [/name]… i like it, but what i love about [name]elena [/name] is that it sounds the same as the turkish name, [name]aleyna [/name]. I need some naming advice!!! Which would you pick and why? Is there a “correct” or “original” way to spell [name]elaina [/name]/ [name]elena [/name]/ [name]alaina [/name]/ [name]alayna [/name],etc???
Lana is a slavic short form of svetlana, milana etc. We [name]love[/name] the name [name]adriana[/name], but it is awfully close. I am fully irish and my husband is persian/arabic. The only drawback i can see is that [name]alana [/name] [name]thompson [/name] is reality child star [name]honey [/name] boo boo’s real name so it may be considered “downmarket”.
But could also be short for alana etc.
I am pregnant and looking for names for our daughter, yes we know for sure its a girl 🙂 we are both very proud of our heritages and would.
